NIA searches Saokat Molla’s home and party office, son questioned in Bhangar blast case
A holiday afternoon in South Kolkata’s Golf Green area turned grim when the bodies of a young man and his girlfriend were discovered inside a flat. The male deceased has been identified as Mohammad Dilshad, a resident of the Tiljala neighborhood. Reports suggest that Dilshad was a frequent visitor to the apartment, often accompanied by a group of friends.
Upon entering the premises, investigators found two other young men inside the flat in a heavily intoxicated state. Both individuals were immediately taken into custody by the police for questioning. While the exact nature of their involvement remains unclear, their presence at the scene under the influence of alcohol has raised several questions regarding the events leading up to the deaths.
The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain the precise cause of death. Forensic experts were also called to the scene to collect samples and evidence from the apartment. Initial inquiries indicate that the group had been gathering at the flat regularly, but the circumstances of this specific Sunday afternoon took a fatal turn. The police are also reaching out to the families of the deceased and the arrested youths to gather more background information.
